Welcome to IEPeace of Mind — a dedicated IEP advocacy service created to bring families clarity, confidence, and compassionate support in the Pittsburgh Area.
I’m Korie Klein, a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with years of hands-on experience supporting children with a wide range of learning, developmental, and behavioral needs. I founded IEPeace of Mind to be the kind of advocate I always wished families had: someone who listens deeply, understands the system, and works tirelessly to ensure your child receives the education and support they deserve.
Whether you're navigating your first IEP meeting or trying to resolve ongoing frustrations with your school district, I bring a calm, strategic, and knowledgeable approach. I’ve worked in schools, homes, and clinical settings across Pennsylvania—partnering with parents, teachers, therapists, and administrators to develop truly individualized and effective education plans.
At IEPeace of Mind, my mission is simple: to ensure every child’s right to a meaningful education is honored and upheld.
I offer a range of personalized services to help families navigate the IEP process with clarity and confidence. My support is always tailored to your child’s unique needs and your family’s goals.
A detailed, line-by-line review of your child’s current IEP. I analyze the appropriateness of goals, accommodations, services, and placement to ensure alignment with your child’s strengths and needs. You’ll receive clear, actionable feedback—and a plan of what to request or revise.
IEP meetings can be overwhelming. I prepare you ahead of time, join you (virtually or in-person) to advocate on your behalf, and help debrief afterward. I ensure your concerns are heard, your rights are respected, and your child’s needs are not overlooked.
Understanding special education language, laws, and processes can be daunting. I teach you how to read and interpret evaluations, ask the right questions in meetings, and assert your parental rights with confidence—without confrontation.
As a licensed BCBA, I provide expert review and input on:
Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Positive Behavior Support strategies
Integration of behavioral goals into the IEP
I also help families and schools collaborate effectively around behavior challenges using evidence-based, compassionate approaches.
I help create SMART, measurable goals that are meaningful for your child and aligned with their developmental and academic needs. I also teach you how to monitor progress and hold the team accountable for outcomes.
From preschool to high school graduation, I provide advocacy at every stage:
Early Intervention to preschool transition
Elementary IEP development
Middle/high school adjustments
Transition planning for life after school, including vocational and life skills supports
Virtual services are available across Pennsylvania. In-person advocacy is available in the greater Pittsburgh area.
Schedule a free 30-minute consultation to discuss your child’s needs and how I can help. There’s no pressure—just an open conversation about your goals, concerns, and options.
